Electronic Hotel Door Lock System
Driven by the growing demand for contactless unlocking, YGS has launched a hotel lock system featuring a dual-server architecture—combining local and cloud servers—to meet these new market needs.
The local system relies on an on-site server; all data and software are stored on the hotel’s internal computers, and system operations depend on the hotel’s internal local area network (LAN). The front desk assigns access rights for specific rooms to key cards, allowing guests to unlock doors by swiping cards; records of these unlocking events are stored in the local memory of the door locks.
The cloud-based system allows for access to the hotel management platform via the Internet, enabling remote management of smart locks (equipped with built-in wireless receiver modules) through wireless gateways. Front desk staff can remotely issue temporary access codes for specific rooms, allowing guests to enter their assigned rooms and other restricted areas using smartphone-based BLE technology. Hotel staff can monitor and manage all access rights in real time.
YGS connects local and cloud systems, ensuring system operation is unaffected by network conditions. Even when offline, all lock functions and access operations remain fully operational, allowing the hotel to complete guest check-in normally. Access records are stored locally in the lock memory and automatically synchronized and backed up to the cloud for dual data protection. Furthermore, hotel administrators can remotely manage properties via the cloud platform, enabling intelligent operation while maintaining outstanding system stability.
