Falling on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month each year, the Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese festival with a history of over 2,000 years. It originated from ancient folk rituals of praying to heaven, warding off epidemics and praying for good fortune. The most widely circulated origin story in later generations commemorates Qu Yuan, a patriotic poet and statesman of the Warring States Period.
Deeply touched by his loyalty and righteousness, local residents rowed boats one after another to search for him. They tossed zongzi into the river to stop fish and shrimp from eating his body. These folk acts evolved over time and eventually formed the classic Dragon Boat Festival customs: dragon boat racing and zongzi wrapping.
To this day, the Dragon Boat Festival still carries beautiful cultural connotations of loyalty to the country, wishes for health, and integrity and kindness.

To mark the Dragon Boat Festival, YGS has organized a rich lineup of corporate festive activities. All staff headed to the mountain area to get close to nature, easing work stress while strengthening team cohesion.
The Dragon Boat Festival embodies traditional meanings of praying for health, peace, harmony and a bright life.
Centered on a cooking session, this activity divided all staff into six teams, whose members prepared and enjoyed delicious food together. The company also distributed rice dumplings to every employee, allowing everyone to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture amid busy work. The whole event was filled with a relaxed and warm atmosphere.
After the meal, employees enjoyed free leisure time. Everyone could choose to go mountain climbing to embrace the joy of exercise, catch fish and crabs by the cool stream, or cool off and relax in the swimming pool.
